The main objective of the Euro-Emotur project is to promote the adoption of digitisation and innovation by tourism SMEs through transnational cooperation and capacity building. This will allow the creation of an ecosystem and a digital innovation centre, in addition to improving its competitiveness in the market through digitalisation.
The EURO-EMOTUR project represents an opportunity to change the game in the European tourism industry through digital transition, connecting SMEs with digital technologies through people (tourist emotions) and knowledge (laboratories). Specifically, direct support will initially be given to 60 SMEs from three pilot regions (Canary Islands-Spain; Veneto-Italy and Lapland-Helsinki-Finland) to later expand to reach 100 tourism SMEs from 20 countries and finally to the entire European ecosystem.
