This recognition highlights an exceptional career that combines academic and professional excellence, solidifying her status as a leader in the sector.
With over 15 scientific articles, 10 book chapters, and 10 national and international projects, Patricia has made a significant impact on tourism research. Her expertise also extends to strategic consulting, marketing, and communication, fields in which she has left her mark thanks to her innovative vision and interdisciplinary approach.
As a professor in the Department of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Patricia complements her academic career with the leadership of EMOTUR, the first neurotourism lab dedicated to analyzing tourists’ emotions, attention, and memories using neuromarketing tools.
Through EMOTUR, Patricia Picazo continues to demonstrate that the future of tourism lies in innovation, knowledge, and emotion.
